We have a day for giving thanks. We have two days for getting deals. Now we have a day for giving back! Tuesday, November 29, 2016 is the fourth annual celebration of #GivingTuesday. Be part of a national movement toward generosity, a day to give a gift that makes an impact. This is an opportunity to support the work of the causes you care about right here in Alamance County and impact the lives of thousands of our residents.

Be creative as you think of ways to support your favorite organization...give your time as a volunteer, give items the organization may need or give a financial gift through the links on this page. It’s an easy way to be a part of something big, and include what you care about as a part of your holiday giving.

The Giving Tuesday project started nationally in 2012 and this will be the third annual Giving Tuesday Alamance! Last year, we had 42 agencies participating and they reported gifts of over 500 volunteer hours, $1,400 of in-kind gifts and over $35,000 in donations. We are excited to expand our focus and include businesses, local governments and schools as we seek to create a culture of generosity here...no matter your means. We are joining hands to create a culture of generosity on Giving Tuesday....Tell Me Something Good!
